TopLine USA offers two types of training: A Beginning class and a Master class.
The two training options provide each installer their choice of how much of an initial investment of time and money they wish to make.

The beginning class will provide you with three days of basic training. This class will provide you with a basic knowledge of the film and hands-on installations of hoods and bumpers. At the end of the three days, it is up to the installer to continue installing kits and become certified within 12 months.
Located in beautiful Northern Michigan, TopLine USA offers a three day 3M™ certified beginning training program. Classes are kept small to ensure one-on-one instruction with our certified installer and trainer. A variety of hoods and bumpers are provided for each trainee to have hands-on experience with The LEADINGEdge™ Paint Protection Film (PPF). Classes are offered Monday – Wednesday from 9:00 am – 4:00 pm with lunch provided. Discounts are available on hotels.
The first day of training will begin with PPF education. Understanding the film and it’s history is a vital component for a successful install and marketing your business. The next two days will be spent installing The LEADINGEdge pre-cut kits. Our instructor will spend time explaining the do’s and don’ts of PPF, tricks of the trade and terminology. Time will always be made for questions.
Once your three days of beginning training is over, you will be provided with a 12-month period to complete the 40 to 70 applications necessary to become certified. Once these applications have been completed, certification is awarded through TopLine USA. You will then receive a certification number and card along with a listing on the 3M certified installer website (not required).
All trainees attending certification class through TopLine USA will receive special pricing on The LEADINGEdge™ pre-cut kits.

- Tools needed to begin a career installing PPF, 2 spray bottles, 4” yellow squeegee, air release tool, apron, olfa knife, and instruction manual
The master class is a more serious investment. Created more for the dealership and fleet company. This class will provide ten days of hands-on pre-cut kit installation training. During this class, the installer will be provided with the necessary amount of installs to become a certified and confident installer. In addition to the master class, marketing workshops and accessory sales workshops are available.
This class will provide the time, material and tools needed to become a certified master installer. A certified trainer will come to your location to install the 40 to 70 applications required for certification. This master training class is an intense 10-day hands-on installation process. During this time, the trainee will install The LEADINGEdge™ hood and bumper pre-cut kits. A variety of vehicles with varying degrees of difficulty will be required. The Master Class is best for individuals and businesses that have a contract or known customers in place. It will be the responsibility of the individual or business being trained to provide the vehicles. TopLine USA may provide information on obtaining the vehicles.
- Complete understanding of PPF

- Marketing materials (tri-fold brochures, “Look” magnet, “Stop Chipped Paint” window cling), warranty cards and “Installed by” stickers)

Marketing Workshops
Marketing training is an excellent investment! This program was created to go hand-in-hand with the master installer program. No better way to increase profits than through product knowledge. An excellent installer is key, but you must sell the product first!
TopLine USA will come to your location and work directly with the: sales group, parts department, management and F & I team. Our goal is to educate each person on the benefits of Paint Protection Film. We will provide sales and marketing techniques to better ensure increased profits through PPF. Every individual within the company must be on the same page and have the same goal and understanding of the ability of PPF to increase annual profits!!
This is a one-day group workshop. 9:00 a.m. – 4:00 p.m. with lunch provided. Our presenter will discuss the history of PPF, explain the most frequently asked questions, provide CSI information, explain the service agreements, provide time for practice sales, and so much more. There will be plenty of time for questions and answers. When every person/department is providing the same push for this product, profits increase! Every attendee will leave with a thorough understanding of PPF and the confidence to sell it!
